RIVET

A native Windows system manager. Live hardware stats, signed-process verification, startup impact ratings, plain-English tweaks, and Ask RIVET, a local AI that answers questions about your PC without sending anything off it. Version 3.5 adds Guard & Restore, a first-run checkup and roll back to a date.

    Started as a PowerShell script. Rebuilt as a native app across ten milestones and passed Microsoft Store certification.

  • Solved real platform limits

    Worked around MSIX registry virtualisation after a restricted capability was denied, without needing it.

    A personal productivity tool. Never shipped, but it started everything.

    Released on itch.io in Free, Lite and Pro tiers. 136 downloads.

    Native app

    .NET 10 + WPF with on-device AI. Live on the Microsoft Store since July 2026.

  4. 3.5 — Now

    Guard & rollback

    Eleven new features, including a first-run checkup, Guard & Restore and roll back to a date.

Software, hardware, and the maths underneath.

I'm a student and indie developer who has been building and selling software for several years. I'm aiming at computer science, electronics and business, with a growing pull towards quantitative work. I learn by shipping: microcontrollers, CAD and 3D printing sit alongside the code.
